 25 Aug 2010: Hamamatsu Photonics is to introduce its new imaging based plate reader, the FDSSµCELL, specifically developed for compound screening and assay development applications in the Pharmaceutical, CRO and Biotech Industries. The FDSSµCELL is optimised for fluorescent kinetic assays using calcium and membrane potential dyes such as FLUO4 and FMP.

BMG LABTECH to Launch its New Absorbance Microplate Reader, the SPECTROstar Nano at Elrig Drug Discovery 2010
 25 Aug 2010: Visit BMG Labtech to learn more about the new absorbance microplate reader SPECTROstar Nano. Using a spectrometer, it captures a full UV-Visible spectrum (220 nm to 1000 nm) in less than 1 sec/well and measures sample volumes down to 2 µL. The SPECTROstar Nano also allows for single push button operation for basic commands, as well as specific assay protocol set up.
