Screening of Genetically Modified Organisms on the DualChip® GMO V1.0 Microarray 08 Apr 2009: The numbers of GMOs present in food and feed is increasing, meaning the standard PCR based screening methods have become laborious and expensive. In response, Eppendorf has developed the DualChip® GMO microarray to facilitate the broad screening for GMOs prior to performing final identifications. This application note describes the detection of GMOs with high specificity, with a minimum detection limit of 0.1% GMO which complies with EU GMO regulations of food and feed labelling. Eppendorf
Application Note 63 - Analysis of Rat G Protein-Coupled Receptors Pathways on a Low-Density Microarray 06 Feb 2009: In the present study, Eppendorf DualChip® rat GPCR was used to demonstrate its potential in the determination of brain heterogeneity. A comparison of the GPCR expression profiles between two distinct regions of the brain is presented: the striatum and the cortex. It was demonstrated that from the 60 genes accessible on the DualChip rat GPCR, 25 genes (36.7%) displayed statistically significant different expression levels and 43 (63.3%) remained stable between the two brain tissues.
